We’d like to thank the staff at the Whole Foods Market in Downtown Silver Spring for a great time hosting their October 2019 Community Giving Day last Thursday. Numerous friends and volunteers came out and showed their support during a busy lunch hour. We are looking forward to hearing the total amount raised–Whole Foods and their customers funded a lot of meals that day!
Whole Foods is a great corporate partner to have in the community. We both value healthy food! Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park looks forward to continuing our relationship with future Community Giving Days and similar initiatives.
