Meals on Wheels of Takoma Park/Silver Spring has earned Guidestar’s Gold Seal of Transparency. This seal is earned through demonstrating excellent governance, management, and transparency practices.
Every year, we participate in the Subaru Share The Love Event. If you’re interested in purchasing or leasing a new car, consider a Subaru — and consider purchasing between mid-November and the end of the year. During those six weeks each year, you can select Meals on Wheels as a charity recipient and our program will receive a donation from Subaru. Subaru’s Share the Love Event has helped deliver more than 2.5 million meals to America’s seniors and thousands here in Takoma Park and Silver Spring alone.
